Our Mission and Scope

With an emphasis on behavioral strategies, Allison coaches individual clients and groups who want to reduce their risk of diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. Using friendly but persistent guidance, she partners with her clients to uncover their true barriers and set realistic but attainable goals. Allison works with adults who are feeling the ill effects of a disease, have been asked by a doctor to make a lifestyle change, or want to improve their general health. She specializes in working with women who are undergoing fertility treatments, preparing their bodies for pregnancy and beginning their motherhood journey. Allison creates programs and tools to help families regain control of the dinner table, motivate their children to discover and enjoy healthy food, and build a healthy family lifestyle!

Why Allī Wellness?

Allison Drury, MPH, CHC has been a health & wellness advocate for over 18 years, with experience as a health educator, writer & producer, public speaker and coach. She is a lifelong advocate for healthy lifestyles and behavior change. Allison's personal experience with an auto-immune disease and fertility issues has given her empathy and experience in using lifestyle modification to enhance a medical treatment plan. She is passionate about guiding her clients to take action steps that build self-efficacy, reduce stress, and make life easier. 

Her training includes:

Allison knows firsthand, as a mother of two little children, the struggles families face when building a healthy environment at home. From mealtime battles to picky eaters, she has created innovate solutions and proven techniques to regain harmony and balance between parents and their children. 

As the former Director of Yahoo's Health and Women's Lifestyle sites, Allison knows how to create compelling content and exciting programs for a specific audience. She writes and presents nutrition and wellness workshops and seminars for groups large and small. Allison's engaging presentations will make your next Lunch 'n' Learn or organizational meeting a success! 

Allison teaches the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute curriculum in the community, and is a freelance health and lifestyle writer. She enjoys the challenge of Pilates and yoga, loves/hates golf, vigorously strategizes on fantasy football, beams when painting with wine, and devours tomatoes and avocados. Allison lives with her husband, two young children, and miniature schnauzer in the greater Los Angeles area.
