I'm all about the smoothie these days. Inspired by Dr. Sears' advice to sip a smoothie to get much needed nutrition and stabilize blood sugar, I've been on a smoothie binge. Here's my latest concoction, that even my 3- and 5 year-old love. 

1 cup of almond milk or juice

½ cup of frozen fruit like blueberries and mango

½ cup greek yogurt or scoop plant-based protein powder

1 banana

½ cup of spinach

2 tbsp ground flaxseed

1 tbsp cinnamon

1 tbsp organic peanut butter

or ¼ of a ripe avocado

I use the NutriBullet from Target, which functions as a blender and cup all-in-one. Less dishes! Yes ma'am!
